We invite outstanding scholars to join us in advancing groundbreaking research on AI in the workplace — from understanding how intelligent technologies reshape jobs, skills, and wages to designing strategies that ensure innovation drives inclusive and sustainable economic growth. As a fellow, you will spend one academic quarter, Spring 2026, on the Hyde Park campus at UChicago developing a research program focused on experimentally evaluating the impact of AI on the workforce in firms, non-profits, educational institutions, and governments. You will contribute to our intellectual community by participating in a workshop with campus faculty and other fellows, presenting in a seminar series, and co-organizing a conference connected to your research. This conference will include academics and practitioners from the public and private sector and serve as launching pad for new research partnerships.

This fellowship offers a unique platform to widen the global network of scholars in this critical field, with housing and living expenses provided, up to $25,000 in research funds.
