The Kenneth C. Griffin Applied Economics Incubator is a hub for generating new initiatives and ideas that stimulate broad-based thought and drive policy change. The Incubator strives to uphold the University of Chicago’s Department of Economics preeminent status as a leader of provocative exploration that is spearheaded by data research, pragmatic testing and academic collaboration.

The Kenneth C. Griffin Applied Economics Incubator is uniquely rich in its data and perspectives as it draws upon the research of the entire Chicago Economic community, including the Kenneth C. Griffin Department of Economics, the Booth School of Business, the Harris School of Public Policy and the Becker Friedman Institute.

We collaborate with esteemed scholars across the globe, sharing ideas and initiatives that enrich and broaden our knowledge base.
