Incubator:
Causal Inference OCE Conference III

Date 2024-06-08

Location The David Rubenstein Forum at the University of Chicago, 1201 E. 60th Street, Chicago, IL,

The UChicago Griffin Applied Economics Incubator is hosting the third Causal Inference Optimization-Conscious Econometrics (OCE) Conference at The University of Chicago campus June 7th to June 8th, 2024. Astonishing recent progress in numerical optimization presents many opportunities and challenges for modern data analysis and scientific inference. Econometrics and statistics offer a valuable angle from which to study optimization problems and, conversely, operations research offers a productive perspective from which to consider many problems in econometrics and statistics, whence the importance of fostering interactions between academic communities.

Please contact event organizer Guillaume Pouliot (guillaumepouliot@uchicago.edu) with programing questions or Diane Blair (Dianeblair@uchicago.edu) regarding logistics.
