Forty years ago, a new paradigm emerged in Industrial Organization, emphasizing economic theory as a foundation for empirical analysis, causal identification, and empirical models for policy evaluation. The conference aims to reflect on these advances and explore future directions for the field.
CONFERENCE PROGRAM
Day 1 is devoted to keynotes by leading scholars whose work has shaped modern empirical IO and related areas in quantitative marketing.
Day 2 will feature presentations of new research in Industrial Organization and related areas (IO+). The paper selection committee will be chaired by Chad Syverson and includes:
